Seven albums into her career, Heather releases what is possibly her
most compelling work to date.
Recorded at home in Bermuda, all on solar power, "The Jasmine Flower" is an album full of her trademark songwriting - deeply emotive and melodically
beautiful, the songs are haunting, dark and uplifting all at once.
The production is minimal - just Heather, with her shimmering, soulful vocals
and a guitar, with some strings (the popular UK Raven Quartet) appearing on
a few tracks.
Heather says of this album - "I know this is a good one because it makes me uncomfortable to sit in a room
and listen to it with other people. I know i must have mined the dark side
and told the truth. I haven't felt this intense about an album since Oyster
(her breakthrough album which charted worldwide) It was liberating to just
do it all by myself without a producer and without a band. It has a rawness,
it breathes"
